It’s Not That Complicated

Why is it that complex lies are still sometimes easier to comprehend than simple truths? I know for me the most complex things seem almost easier at times to understand…maybe because I try to figure them out while sometimes the simple things seem so hard to work out because they stand alone!
Jesus told his disciples all of the law and the prophets hang on these two commandments…”love God and love people”. (Matthew 22:34-40)
Love is all inclusive…it is what it is.
It seems so simple and I truly believe it is…but how difficult in our lives is it to live.
We all know that God is multi faceted ever ready to reveal another piece of Himself to us but I don’t think God is complicated because the definition of complicated is “hard to understand” and “knotty, tied up” and God isn’t any of those things. Simple means to “be free, easy, unpolluted.” I believe that God is trying to help us stop complicating Him so we can truly change the world.
Let’s stop making God a formula and realize that God is a REAL, TANGIBLE PERSON inside all of us…
