I do believe that the ungodly things that we display on the worlds forum can be very costly. Regardless of who or what it's about; It causes non-believers to view us as tainted, or "Corrupt Christians". I myself have said things I shouldn't have without thingking. I believe it's far easier to post something in raw emotion than to say it verbally.Especially if you think doing it in person may cause a situation to become uncontrollable, or more damaging to them. Some people fear confrontation. Many public forums have becoome places to voice anything immaginable.
I, however don't think everyone who does this does it expecting nothing to come of it. I have personally had to ask God to give me wisdom on when to keep my "Cyber mouth" shut. I've also had to pray about keeping my physical mouth shut. Words are all to often minimized, but they hurt.
They hurt in person, and they hurt online. I pray God gives us all wisdom in these situations. What we say really is costing us. Transparency is what the world loos for us to have. Unfortunately, lots of us are lacking it lately. I believe I'm getting back to where I need to be spiritually and emotionally.
So that when others repeat what I say; it's not ugliness, but it's reflective of God's Heart. That's my prayer.
